I’m talking about Movements found in swiss watches, grand complications with moon phases and calendars. IWC and rolex watches for example. What do you think will happen to it in 20 years from now? Will it become extinct, or will new technology push the limits of its mechanics to a whole new level?

I really like breitlings, I can get a quality watch with the same exact movement as the rolex but for a lot cheaper. And also I can get a special addition watch for only 20K from Breitling but around 40K from Rolex.
